The Sunrise Recreation & Park District is a special district under the County of Sacramento. For more than 60 years, the District’s recreation facilities have served the 163,000+ residents of Antelope, Citrus Heights and Foothill Farms. The district manages 493 acres within an area of 27 square miles and administers hundreds of programs for families and businesses, including: classes, adult sports leagues, senior activities, and youth sports programs. Residents within the District enjoy these amenities:

• 42 parks (32 developed, plus ten open space sites), including some with: tennis courts, picnic tables, barbecue areas, multipurpose fields, horseshoe pits and more
• Three community centers
• Two aquatic facilities
• Four licensed day care locations
• A nine-hole golf course
• One historic home
• One skate park
• One dog park
