Administrator’s Message

The weather is warming up and the staff at SRPD is once again preparing for a very busy spring and summer season within our beautiful parks system and outstanding recreational programs. As you have come to expect, this catalog is overflowing with recreational opportunities such as as swimming lessons for all abilities, leisure enrichment classes, child care opportunities and a whole array of athletic sporting programs.
I also invite you to reserve your next celebration at one of the districts many indoor facilities including the Historic Rusch Home or if you are looking for a beautiful outdoor setting, reserve one of our 14 picnic areas.
This year, we will continue to concentrate on park improvements at Arcade Creek Park Preserve, Walerga, Brooktree, Antelope Station, C-Bar-C, Crosswoods, and San Juan just to name a few. When you are in the area, please stop by Tempo Park and enjoy the new Natural Area and Walking Trails just recently completed. To learn more about any of our park improvement projects, I encourage you to visit our website often for updates on the progress that we are making.
