In past recreation guides, I have emphasized sports, aquatics, children’s classes, and even park activities. As a fifty-something year old isn’t it time that I highlight adult programming? I think so!

So let me get started.

For those who like to move, check out our Zumba, Yoga, Tai Chi and other fitness and strengthening classes click here.

Adventurous types can take an exciting “New” trip to either New Orleans or New England or if you prefer to stay more local, then travel on the Napa Wine Train or visit San Francisco’s Fleet Week Airshow (more info coming soon). SRPD and its partners make traveling easy.

If you want to “raise a racket” try Pickle Ball, the latest social sport sweeping the nation. The new play surface at Rusch Park offers the opportunity to play on tournament-quality courts. Over 200 adult members have joined the club and are already enjoying this easy to learn activity, click here.

For a full offering of great adult programming, just turn the page and take a look at how you can recreate through Sunrise Recreation and Park District.
